Wow I wish I could hit 10k in 6 months ps I love your Chanel and I am subscribed
Speak for yourself man, my 2013 Toshiba with a Pentium b960 runs Unity 2019.2, in 3D 60fps
Just started developing a 2D rogue like and thank you for recommending asperite, it’s lit
Out of curiosity , since Godot has an auto tile set system in it why do you use tiled ? Sorry if I missed something in the video :))
Yooo it looks great man, It looks hard to code and implement all this work, keep the work dude! Check it out my own games too if you want! Thank youu
why dont you use adobe premiere for editing ?
Thanks for this video! I never saw your videos before but i’m going to subscribe! i been wanting to start game development but i have a bad laptop. This helped me i can’t wait to watch more of your videos.
i seriously thinking about that… love your videos btw… i just start my own youtube devlogs, i am working on my first 2d platformer as well
Pyxel edit pisses all over Aseprite, I would say at least 7 out of 10 of the best pixel artists in the industry use PYXEL EDIT!!!
Hi Ric ,I have a question : why you don't release your game in the playstore ??
asesprite is free if you compile it by yourself
I recommend looking at the Extra Credits channel to learn about game design, and what goes in to making good games,
Another cool I have the bamboo tablet already hehehe very nice and clean setup love it!
Hey Ric, I can recommend this youtuber for Pixel Art: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC26K7LTSrJK0BPAUyyvtQg
He makes pretty good videos.
you should use nividia shadowplay to capture screen footage, it's really good and captures 60 easily <3
Thanks for sharing this! Was really insightful ^^
In regard to OBS dropping the frame rate of your game. You should do a YouTube search for the best OBS settings. I am sure there are some things you can change to make your game run better. For example, go through the output and video settings. Somewhere in there, you can make a change that will force OBS to either use your computer GPU or CPU. Depending on your hardware and the quality of video you want I am sure you can find the right balance and get the best performance for your recordings.
Really great programs! There's so many options out there, it's hard to know what to choose so this video is great for those who are lost aswell as on a budget!
those program are awesome!
Umm…why not just use the autotile system in godot…its quite easy and fast to use.
Honestly, great work man. I have seen your channel grow from 200 subscribers up to 11.4k and you totally deserve that. You rock
Sir, I am also a game dev and also made some devlogs but how do you make such great quality devlogs
Nice to see a simple and effective setup 😊
This is so cool! A video!! Made my day!
Also I have a suggestion as you use github: Gitkraken is such a better client! :))
